A distinct brand identity and collateral for Porchlight, a NYC bar that captures Southern warmth with urban sophistication.
A selection of concept sketches exploring approaches to the logomark design.
I crafted the visual identity, blending early 20th-century Americana with a modern sensibility. From designing the logomark to creating custom illustrations and defining the brand’s typography and color palette, I helped build a cohesive identity that captures the warmth and craft of a bygone era.
I co-designed the printed collateral and physical signage, ensuring every touchpoint reflected the bar’s character. From menus and coasters to matchbooks and exterior signage, I prepared print-ready production files and worked closely with vendors to bring the designs to life.
One of my favorite parts of this project was designing a custom playing card deck inspired by early 1900s men’s and women’s accessories. The timeless design has remained a staple at Porchlight for nearly a decade, adding a playful and nostalgic touch to the bar’s atmosphere.
